Ciudad Perdida

In the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the path to Ciudad Perdida climbs through dense tropical forest, crosses rivers, and passes through mountain communities. Deep in the hills, stone stairways rise to terraces built long before the Spanish arrived.

These photographs document the September 2024 journey into the mountains of northern Colombia. The route map will follow once the track is verified.
